Antwerp Fashion Academy Show 2011

Yesterday I went to Antwerp to see all the collections of the students from the first year, 2nd year, 3rd year and the graduates. It was a really extravagant show, with a lot of elegant, extreme but beautiful designs. I was intrigued by all the shoes of the different collections. A lot of the shoes were inspired by the designs of Jan Taminiau and Alexander McQueen, which are my favourite designers. Although they were almost impossible to walk on, it was a very beautiful sight.

Gisteren ben ik naar Antwerpen gegaan om alle collecties te zien van de studenten van het 1e, 2e, 3e jaar en de afstudeerders. Het was een hele extravagante show, met heel veel elegante, extreme maar heel mooie ontwerpen. Ik was geïntrigeerd door de gave schoenen van alle verschillende collecties. Veel schoenen waren geïnspireerd op de designs van Jan Taminiau en Alexander McQueen, mijn favouriete designers. Ondanks dat de meeste onmogelijk waren om op te lopen was het een gaaf zicht.

One of my favourite collections was from Rey Pador, a 3rd year bachelor student which had a pretty extreme collection but it was artistically made. I couldn't make the best photo's of this collection because of the light, so I apologize for the poor quality.

Een van mijn favoriete collecties was die van Rey Pador, een 3e jaar bachelor student, hij had een redelijk extreme collectie maar het was heel kunstig gemaakt. Het lukte me niet om de beste foto's te maken van deze collectie door het licht, dus sorry voor de slechte kwaliteit.

Most people were dressed really nice and special and that was fun to watch. Below there's a picture of to extravagant people that I saw in the break between the shows. I had to take a picture of them, love the style! 


De meeste mensen waren heel mooi of speciaal gekleed en dat was leuk om te bekijken. Hier onder is een foto van twee extravagante mensen die ik zag lopen in de pauze. Ik moest een foto van hun maken, vond hun stijl echt gaaf!
